What products does Russia produce?

Military equipment, starting with rifles to highly advanced air defense systems (such as s400) and ballistic missiles. There is a lot of military equipment to cover some is basic and been in production for decades other is brand new technologically advance designs.

Russian government owned auto industry is not exactly top ranked in the world. Aside from third world countries and former USSR states, no one buys them. However all terrain vehicles are highly effective.

New privately owned Russian auto firms are showing up, such as Marussia and YO. Marussia makes B1, B2 race cars which have formula one cosworth engines. These cars are priced over a hundred thousand dollars, but the company plans to expand into series production of 5-7 different vehicles including suv's. Also there is a "Yo" manufacturer a smaller electric or semi electric car. Both companies are highly successful and privately owned.

Russia had been making rocked engines for decades which NASA uses in it's launches. As well as building nuclear power plants world wide, after Chernobyl disaster they begun using barriers to prevent radioactive spill. This design became a standard everywhere.

Russia is a leading exporter of oil and natural gas. Their other main exports are nickel, palladium, iron and chemical products, cars, military equipment and timber.
