By default, Windows XP Home Edition does not automatically install the Backup utility. To install manually, go to the \VALUEADD\MSFT\NETBACKUP folder on your Windows XP setup CD and double-click NTbackup.msi. The installation wizard will complete the installation.

If you migrating from Windows XP or its lower version than a utility tool is ran which make backup of all the program installed and if it is Vista you can simply migrate to Windows 7 version.

Depends on your OS. In Windows Vista and Windows 7, it will request permission before instaling anything. The request has a drop down menu with details about the program or driver that is wanting to install. If it is something you do not want just click no and it will not install.
The WIndows Installer Cleanup Utility is a program from Microsoft that came out in 1999. It was designed to help Windows clean-up programs and help with installation problems and uninstallation difficulties that Windows based programs may encounter.
The Windows utility that is used to uninstall a program is accessible through the Control Panel. It is called Add/Remove Programs. Search for "Reflective Riot" on youtube and view their video on how uninstall programs step by step, they will show you how to do it.
