It's most likely to use C++ as the 'core' engine, due to the fact that the programming language is the most reliable and also computing processor units (CPU's) can calculate and output the information given far more efficiently than something such as C or (god forbid) VBasic. Long story short - C++ is the most well know, compatible and widely used programing language of most.. if not, ALL 'Engines' in the games industry.
