DSO-Exploit is a security gap in internet Explorer, Outlook and Outlook Express. Microsoft did already close this gap with security updates, so with current Windows updates and patches installed, it will no longer be a threat to your system. Spybot-S&D will still detect the DSO-Exploit, but instead of fixing it for good, it will unfortunately again set an invalid value. Therefore it will again be found with every scan. This little bug in Spybot-S&D has already been repaired and the respective fix will soon be available as a program update.

AnswerThere is a download now at Major Geeks downloads. It will fix this DSO Exploit problem. Go to the site click on Spyware tools and scroll down its very clear . I have had this DSO problem with spybot for over a year, sometimes getting over 20 entries for the DSo . After donloading and installing this I have never had a entry for DSO since. You must have the latest edition of SpyBot for it to work.

Spybot: S & D was recently updated, so it should take care of your problem. It no longer sets an invalid value and clears out everything in a manner of minutes. Go for it.
