Elaine (Julia Louis-Dreyfus) had many jobs in the series of Seinfeld: she first worked at Pendant Publishing. She then worked as a secretary for Mr.Pitt. Elaine's 3rd job was writing for the J. Peterman catolog; but once Mr. Peterman ran off to Burma, she took Mr. Peterman's job as president of the company. Eventually though, Mr. Peterman returned from Burma and took her old job back while Mr. Peterman took his old job back as president. Hope I helped! JG :)
