The F12 key on a computer keyboard can have many purposes. Most ways are program specific and does different things per program.
The main purpose is a lot of computer's BIOS or CMOS use the F12 key to select boot options or enter the BIOS menus.
It brings up web developing tools. It is for IT technicions and is of no use to you. F11 will give you full screen viewing. ( Try it )

They are on a Standard Keyboard. You must have a different kind if they are not there.F11 & F12 are on a standard keyboard and a Mac keyboard. You are not using a standard keyboard if they are missing.
If you look at the top of your keyboard the should be F1-F12 if you click F11 then it will make the screen large :)
