Where ODST starts is leaving right off the end of the level called Metropolis with the Chief where you kill the Scarab. You, the Master Chief, are leaving with the Covenant ship into Slipspace while the ODST's are dropping

There are 2 disks that come with the game: The 1st has Campaign and Firefight, which is new. The 2nd has the Custom games, with 3 new maps, and a bunch of others that you had to buy off live for Halo 3.

Yes because it is almost the very beginning of the halo series. It would help to have halo: combat evolved because the events of Halo Reach takes place 20 years prior to the events of halo: combat evolved. the first halo stems right off of Halo Reach. By itself it is a fantastic game

Halo 3ODST (Halo 3 Recon) comes out on the 22nd of September this year, It is set during Halo 2 when Regrets ship slip spaces into the city of New Mombasa. While jumping 100's of ODSTs drop from a ship above but they land in the streets of New Mombasa you play as Dare, Dutch, Micky, Romeo, Buck and 'The Rookie' to stop the covenant getting out of the city. Halo Reach was announced after the E3 09 trailer of ODST not much is known, but it will have a multi-player mode (Beta with ODST in 2010) and you could play as a untrained SPARTAN-II from the second wave of SPARTAN-IIs (IGN GUESSED THAT) ,and the campaign could be based on the Novel 'Halo: Fall of Reach' Bungie did say that they were stopping with the Halo series after Halo Reach, but recently they now say that was a bit of a premature statement, meaning that they are now considering more
