You say that, ".... the complainant proved to the Deputy..." The Deputy is not the one who determines your guilt or innocence. The poor guy can only deal with the information that's available to him at the time of the incident. If you can prove that you have a life estate in the land, request a court appearance and go with your life estate legal papers. The judge will make the decision.

Q: What recourse should be taken if a person was jailed for tresspassing.Had legal right to be there by a life estate deed.the complainant aparantly proved to the deputies they had all rights.?
