A disk encryption software is used to encrypt all the data on a disk. Once a disk is encrypted, then unauthorized personnel cannot access the data storage in the disk.
you can not format a disk without losing the data, so back up all of your data elsewhere before formatting.
Hey, I would recommend you to send your hard disk to some good data recovery centre like Stellar Data Recovery centre. It will recover all your data without any hassles. You need hard disk recovery software to recover your data from formatted hard disk like stellar phoenix hard disk recovery software. It will recover your all data if you not overwrote on it. Cheers...
Delete can do that. So can Clear All.
hard disk is a collection power of computer and all the data are store in hard disk for the the long time save.
There are lots of ways, but the easiest is to press the Delete key.

Formatting prepares a drive to accept new data. This involves wiping the whole drive (or partition) and all the information on it.Delete, just removes the index to where a particular file was actually stored on the disk. It's a bit like, instead of tearing a page out of a book, you just cross out the index that refers to that page. That's how Undelete programs can find the file again. The old data however, can be overwritten, by new stuff being stored and thus losing the data forever.
A hard disk drive records data by magnetizing a thin film of ferromagnetic material on a disk. Sequential changes in the direction of magnetization represent binary data bits. The data is read from the disk by detecting the transitions in magnetization. User data is encoded using an encoding scheme, such as run-length limitedencoding, which determines how the data is represented by the magnetic transitions.
By formatting the disk is only prepared to receive new information which could, but need not, overwrite the old data. All the existing information stays on disk . The only information deleted is that which tells the operating system where the data is stored. Only disk wiping (overwriting all data on disk) will remove old data
When you delete a file on a filesystem all that is really done is that the disk "forgets" where the data is stored. It remains on the disk until it is overwritten. Formatting is a more technical term than most people understand. A common misconception is that formatting is simply deleting all data on a disc. In fact formatting is more of a "reconfiguration" of the disk. Formatting is the process where a system of data storage is applied to the disk. As a bi-product of this the system which remembered the layout of the origonal data is replaced and therefore the data inaccessible. It is however a common feature of most formatting tools to physically destroy the data as part of the formatting process.
