Yes she was. She had to face horrible animals and her surroundings, as well as poachers.
If you mean "Do you think someone would take on the same career as Jane Goodall?" I would say yes because college students go to Gombe to watch her work because they want to be like her.
Although Jane Goodall founded the Jane Goodall Institute in 1977, its birth can be traced to the moment Jane stepped out of a game warden's boat onto a pebbly beach at what was then the Gombe Stream Game Reserve in Tanzania.effective, it had to address the needs of the human populations surrounding habitat. Jane started the TACARE (Take Care) program in Kigoma in 1994. This community-centered conservation and development program partners with communities to create sustainable livelihoods while promoting conservation goals.
At first, she had no scientific background so no one would take her seriously if her mentor, Louis Leakey, hadn't arranged for her to get a PhD. at Cambridge University.
It was her mother.
Jane Goodall has been quite healthy most of her life. She, along with her mother who was accompanying her at the time, suffered a nasty bout of malaria when she was 26 and first started her work in Gombe. For several weeks they resisted making the long three hour trip by boat to see a doctor for treatment but finally gave in, and were given treatment for malaria. Jane would get malaria again a few months later. Goodall and her sister have a neurological condition known as prosopagnosia which is a memory impairment for face and patterns. She cannot recognize people's faces. Interestingly, though, she has no difficulty in deciphering the faces of the chimps that she has tracked and recalling their names. She is, of course, now starting to slow down a bit and show her age (she was born in April 1934 and is 77 as of December 2011) but seems to still be in good health.
she helped take care of chimpanzees studied chimpanzees

Jane godall is still alive. Her current age is 75That is great but she fly's out every week to see the chimps and she names them and she goes right to her... STILL TO THIS DAY!!!! If the moms want to go get food and leave their babies there the mother will make Jane take care of him/her, that's cool!
Don't take the girl
what risks do pediatric nurses take? what risks do pediatric nurses take?

Famous Quotes:"Some scientists believe chimpanzees can be useful in finding out more about human diseases and searching for cures ... however there are ... many ethical problems regarding how we use and abuse animals""If you really want something, and really work hard, and take advantage of opportunities, and never give up, you will find a way."the most interesting fact about Jane Goodall is that instead of numbering the animals she gave them names something that no one else thought of or did
