The minutemen were men of the colonies who were believed to have been able to be ready to fight within a minute's notice. They fought many battles including the battle of Lexington and Concord. However inexperienced some of them may have been, being farmers or ordinary citizens of the colonies, they still fought with spirit and inspired many to continue fighting, all the while weakening the British soldiers and showing Britain that they were not afraid to fight for what they believed in.
