Being a CNA I,your answer depends...all nurses have a certain requirement & amount they're allowed to do. For instance,a CNA can only assist with personal hygene,eating,walking,ect.-they're not allowed to administer medication (unless they have med tech lic.) All nurses however,do offer support/comfort often,having a role in their patient care. They too,must build trust & respect patient confidentiality. It's recommended,a nurse & her patient not bond too closely for several reasons.
