The same rooms as houses everywhere generally but some of the names differ.
Originally, the average British house was a "two up, two down" with 2 rooms per floor. Terraced houses were built back to back and side to side so this worked quite well.
The 4 rooms then were two bedrooms upstairs (One for the adults, one for the kids) and downstairs, a kitchen and a sitting room. The front foor opened into the sitting room (living room or lounge) and the back door, if they were posh enough to have one, opened into the kitchen. The toilet (privvy, lavvy, bog) was outside. These houses also tended to have coal cellars (basements) but they weren't generally pleasant places to go. There was also a loft, which was a small attic space.
In the 60's and 70's these houses started to acquire internal bathrooms so often half of one of the upstairs rooms was turned into an inside bathroom.
Later or bigger houses have other rooms, a porch was an addition which gave an area between the front door and the living room... Some houses had a hall which the front door led to and other rooms came off that. Often added additional bathrooms (Brits tend to refer to them as toilets, even if they have baths/showers in, so "Where's your toilet?" means "Where's your bathroom?" generally).
You will also see dining rooms, which are for eating in - The kitchen may have a pantry in it for storing food, and some have separate utility rooms for washing machines and things. There are drawing rooms for enterianing guests (from the old "withdrawing room") in some houses, studies and hell, this is the 21st century, some of us even have Machine rooms now.
Of course... We could start a whole new long topic on the subject of the English man and his Shed which would class to most as another house room... But we will ignore that one for this topic.
