First, adjust your compass or throw it away. Second re-calibrate or re-install your GPS system or throw it away. Las Vegas is North of Santa Fe on I-25 over Glorieta Pass. The best way for directionally challenged drivers to head from one town to another is to depart early in the morning or late in the afternoon when the sun is rising or setting. You can exit from Santa Fe from Cerillos Road on the South side of town, the midtown exit or the Pecos Trail exit on the North end of town. When you hit I-25 in the morning, the rising sun should be over your right shoulder and the signs will aim you to Raton and Denver. If you pass the Apache Canyon Exit you are doing fine. If you see an exit that says Santa Fe Downs and the morning sun is still over your right shoulder, the whole world is in trouble.
