In the US anyway, CCA (Cold Cranking Amps) is one of the main things you need for starting any engine. The larger the CCAmps the easier and longer you can crank an engine. Too low and the engine either won't turn over or the battery will die too fast when trying to start the engine in cold weather.
The larger the motor the harder for the starter to crank the engine. Especially diesels because they have such a high compression ratio.
You would need to know the size of the lorry engine and if it's gas or diesel, then any garage should be able to tell you what size battery to buy or how many to buy.
