The starter solenoid may be sticky or stuck.
I had a simalar problem on my 99 e320. It turned out to be a crankshaft position sensor. by the way, the engine cranks automatically until it starts (or doesn't) even if you let go of the key and let it return to the run position. other possibilitys include the ignition key
there is no code, if you turn the key and try to start the car and the security light comes on do not keep cranking it because you will just waste the charge in the battery. turn the key like your starting the car to the position where the lights on the dash come on and let it sit for 10 minutes or until the security lite stops blinking then turn the key to off position and try to start the car.. it is really common on these piece of junk cars and if you have an after market key good luck because it will happen a lot and at the worst times possible
turn key to on position check for power to coil. some vehicles supply 12 volts while cranking when you let the key go you might have no power at coil.
this question makes no sense ? i assume you mean prevent the car from cranking??? if so then no. a bad fuel pump may stop the car from running or starting but it should not stop it from cranking. a bad fuel pump relay could stop the car from cranking but that would depend on the year make and model of your car.
my 98 does the same but not with a/c on. I have only found fuel filter/pump suggestion as with 96 blazer stalling while driving. Will check out and let you know.
Turn key on, do not start. Push gas pedal all the way down to the floor 3 times being sure to let all the way off each time. Then turn key off and then start engine.
Analog dash IA a 1991 chevy s-10 blazer
I'm going to wing this and say first make sure you are in park. You may need to hold the brake pedal down to do this. If you are in park, just try to push the shifter a little further into park while turning the key off. Let me know how you make out. Hope this helps.
The way I play it is in the key of C.
wat type of blazer? There are many types ,but only one way to change them let me know and Ill find out
Bad ignition switch?
drive a 4.3 01 blazer underneath the eaves of a tall building, climb to the top until you are directly over your car with an oil pan grip the oil pan between your fingers until you feel the urge to let go then let do the rest and voila you dropped an oil pan on a blazer.
