In the US, work with inorganic Arsenic is regulated by OSHA as a specifically named hazardous material, under a specific standard. There is a link to the OSHA arsenic standard at the very bottom of this page- while it IS a General Industry Standard, it also applies to Construction, Shipbuilding, etc.
The standard requires air monitoring, and under some conditions, protective clothing, personal protective equipment, employee training, hazard communication, controlled access to arsenic areas, provision for personal sanitation, and medical monitoring. It may also require engineering controls, and a written exposure control program.
