If you are in high school you need to take college prep classes so you can go to college. You will need to get a 4 year degree and then do vet school. It is like getting a medical degree for animals. Go to your counselor to make sure you are taking the right classes because you will need certain classes in each subject area.

The veterinarian is responsible for caring of the entire animal. Vet school is considered by most to be even most difficult than medical school.
