Obviously, if your high school offers a vocational course in Cosmetology, take it.
General business will be helpful if you ever want to start your own shop. Spanish would be good to know in some parts of the country. Otherwise, prepare for your general life by learning all the English, Speech, chemistry and math that you can handle. If you are good at styling hair, etc. and good at dealing with people you will a success as a beautician just by completing the required course in high school, but you also have to live in the world - make financial decisions, vote and guide children. You may also at some point decide to explore other job options that require more education, so take all the college prep courses that you can pass. You are not likely to ever have more time to study than you do now.
they don't really have any in high school that benefit you very much. if you are only doing cosmetology (hair&makeup) i'd say just take the artsy classes. if you want to be an esthitician then you should take human anatomy, that's what they told me. i don't remember the rest of the things they said.
if you want to be taken seriously as a cosmetologist, go to a good school for it, such as aveda. that's what i'm doing. then, you can just call them up and ask them which good prerequisits you should take. they're very nice and will answer your question to the best of their ability. (:
hope this helps!

To become a child doctor or pediatrician you first have to become a doctor. Following medical school you will have to do a minimum of 3 years residency in pediatrics (the babies and children unit of a medical school hospital). Recommended high school subjects are mathematics and science subjects like biology, physics and chemistry. Becoming a doctor is highly competitive and the prospective doctor should aim for excellent grades.
If you are learning to become a beautician, that should be part of your learning as well. If it's not then you might want to think about finding another school to go to and get your money back if you can.
