The genetic transformation experiment was done by Frederick Griffith, an English physician. .
The "transforming factor" that alters pneumonia bacteria was found to be DNA by the scientist Fredrick Griffiths.
In 1928, Fred Griffith inoculated mice with different kinds of viruses and found that there was some kind of transforming agent within the bacterial cells that changed them.It wasn't until later on, in 1932, when Oswald Avery figured out that this transforming agent was probably DNA.Then later still, in 1952, Alfred Hershey and Martha Chase reenacted Griffith's experiment and confirmed that DNA was indeed the transforming agent to change cells.

Clostridium difficile
Avery discovered the transforming factor through experiments with Streptococcus pneumoniae bacteria. He and his team found that when they treated heat-killed virulent bacteria with enzymes that destroyed proteins, the ability to transform non-virulent bacteria into virulent ones remained. However, when they used enzymes that destroyed DNA, the transformation did not occur, leading to the conclusion that DNA was the transforming factor responsible for genetic inheritance. This work provided critical evidence that DNA is the molecule of heredity.
Scientists placed bacteria in their own kingdom, the Monera, because bacteria lack the nuclei, mitochondria, and chloroplasts found in other forms of life
The experiment conducted by Griffith in 1928 demonstrated that DNA is the transforming principle responsible for converting live R cells into pathogenic S cells in bacteria. This discovery laid the foundation for the understanding of the genetic material's role in heredity and molecular biology.

No scientist found the Earth.
Bacteria found in a sink belongs to the kingdom Bacteria.
Bacteria are found in the large intestine (strictly speaking, bacteria are found everywhere, but there are a particularly large number of them in the large intestine).
Scientist believe there are but none have been found yet. We are currently in the process of searching for an exoplanet in the habitable zone. Also Scientist believe bacteria life could exist on Mars and Saturn's Moon Titan.
