Mark's gospel contains the clearest "timeline" of events the day Christ was crucified: Mark 15:25 - Now it was the third hour, and they crucified Him. By Jewish reckoning of time, the third hour was 9am. Mark 15:33, 34 - Now when the sixth hour (noon) had come, there was darkness over the whole land until the ninth hour (3pm). And at the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a loud voice, saying, "Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani?" which is translated, "My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?" Almost immediately afterward, Mark writes that Jesus "breathed his last." (Mk 15:37)
Christ was on the cross for about six hours before his crucifixion.
Jesus Christ was crucified on the cross and died after approximately six hours.
A cross section of a river would describe or show what is in the river from the top to the bottom. A long profile shows what is in it from one end to the other, that is, from the tributaries to the mouth.

In Bible times, crucifixion involved the fastening of an individual to a cross. These crosses, like that of Jesus Christ, consisted of one long wooden beam, with a shorter beam fastened to it perpendicularly close to the top.
A typical church building is usually in the shape of a cross when viewed from above, with a long central nave and shorter arms forming the transept. This design is symbolic of the Christian faith and serves as a reminder of the crucifixion of Jesus Christ.

I would call it a sermon on telling the truth about the Lord Jesus Christ and how He died on the cross paying the price to set anyone free from sin who believes in Him, and how He resurrected the third day from death.
Christianity did not start until the birth, death, and resurrection of Christ.
