A control device, normally used in industrial control applications, that employs the hardware architecture of a computer and a relay ladder diagram language. Also known as programmable logic controller.
The purpose of semiconductors is to control the amount of conduction, not the amount of insulation.
Relays and Contactors are electromagnetic switches. The onlydifference is that relays are usually used for low voltageapplications while contactors are used for higher voltageapplication. Contactors usually have Overload protection. Some examples that I can give (at least in Manufacturing ofIndustrial Control panels):-Relays are use as electromagnetic switches to controlcertain parts of a circuit (low voltage application). Abetter example would be such as if you want your circuit tosound a horn when a certain abnormality is happening at acertain period of time, then depending how you set up yourcircuit, a specific relay will either open or close and youhorn will start making the sound.-Contactors can be used for example, to start motors or anumber of motors that require a higher voltage in order forthe motor or motors start working. In the example that Ijust gave, contactors work as starters.
A Furnace heated by electric Current is known as electric Furnace. Advantage of an electric furnace is it gives Positive temperature control System through a Temperature Controller. Now a days application of an electric Furnace is very Vast, from domestic use to Industrial Applications. Industrial uses its making large quantity of steel, in quality control laboratory it's a part to Analise the quality of materials etc. Domestic use of electric furnace warm rooms, media of cooking foods for us.
Lubricants and industrial oils.
Industrial controls include devices such as motor starters, contactors, control centers, and programmable logic controllers.
some of the main components in the control panel are single phase preventers,contactors-are of two types they are power contactors and control contactors, relays, overload relays, transformers for the equipment and for cooling purpose, etc

You might need to use the wave to help control the applications. This will help you to know when to make more products.
In a semiconductor like silicon or germanium, it's possible to control whether the material is a conductor or not. With iron, it's a conductor, and there's no way to control it.

Using contactors (or relays) to control electric heat means that all of the heat will be started at one time unless separate time delay relays are used. Contactors are magnetic and make noise. They snap in and may hum. Contactors are normally used on commercial systems where they may not be directly attached to the ductwork. This prevents the noise from traveling through the system - Sequencer are cheaper and quiet compared to contactors.

The speed control of the DC motor is important because its speed can be changed over a wide variety of simple methods which is not possible in an AC motor.
