The sensor in the exhaust manifold is the oxygen sensor. It measures the amount of oxygen left in the exhaust after combustion. The computer then takes that information and "decides" if the car is running rich or lean. It then adjusts the fuel injectors to keep the emissions at a minimal level.
their is only one. It is in top of exhaust pipe
i believe theres only one and its located in the exhaust pipe
all o2 sensors are on the exhaust manifold pipe. That is the exhaust pipe from your engine.
There are many sensors on the Catera. The exhaust has two on each exhaust pipe. There are many more in other parts of the engine.
Screwed into the exhaust pipe, just behind the engine.Screwed into the exhaust pipe, just behind the engine.
exhaust pipe
The oxygen sensors are screwed into the exhaust pipe behind the engine.
They are screwed into the exhaust pipe, behind the engine.
Its the fuel linkage sensors on your vehicle. its screwed on to your exhaust pipe
There should be two Oxygen sensors; the one that wears out most frequently is installed in the exhaust manifold, close to where the exhaust pipe connects. The second Oxygen sensor should be behind the catalytic converter.
Follow the exhaust off the back of the motor and on the exhaust pipe it is the first sensor you come too.
On the exhaust pipe between the exhaust manifold and the catilitic converter. Looks kind of like a spark plug screwed into the pipe.
