Catalytic converter I think The 02 Sentra doesn't have a "regular" catalytic converter, its an all in one manifold converter assembly. *There are 4, they are located in the exhaust manifold. On the 02 Sentra 1.8 there are two wiring harnesses that have blue plugs and two that have green. Those are the harnesses for the Oxygen sensors. Follow the harness down the manifold and that's where they are located.

Your oxygen sensors are located directly under the motor. You have 2 exhaust pipes that merge into 1 and ultimately send exhaust out your tailpipe at the back of your car. If you look near the underside of your motor, before those exhaust pipes merge, you will find them sticking out from the pipe. You have one in each pipe near what's called the manifold. To change them you will have to disconnect the wire end from it's connector and unscrew the other end from the exhaust pipe. This is a fairly easy replacement install. A couple words of wisdom. Do this install when the engine is cold otherwise everything is hot hot hot to the touch. The connector ends that the sensor plugs into can become brittle, be gentle when disconnecting the old sensors. I'm a big guy and there is not a whole lot of room under my Amanti, consider jacking up one side of the car for more space. You can purchase sensors from either Amazon or ebay for much less than at your local dealership.
