You have to create a metaphor because there isn't a specific one. For example:

"She lifted the fruit to her lips taking in a bite. The tantalizer staining her lips to a bright and beautiful crimson."

In this you never SAY the word strawberry but it is. Where as in the simile you mention it. Hope this helps!
