One method is to completely line your eyes with a black liner. Keep the liner on the inside of the lashes and make the top outside 1/3 of the line a bit thicker. Also can extend the liner a tad (maybe 1/8 of an inch) on the outside where the eyelid crease is.

Sometimes drawing a liquid liner on your eye lid is difficult to draw straight. I have seen a make up tutorial that suggested to draw on eye liner with a pencil or soft time and then go over with the liquid liner to make sure it is straight.

If the pool is drained by mistake and the liner has floated, make sure to keep the liner wet. This will prevent it from possible shrinkage.

That normally depends on where you are getting the liner from, but in most cases, you measure the pool diameter and actual pool wall height. When you order the liner, let the liner manufacturer know the liner is for an above-ground pool with an overlap liner. The liner manufacturer will then make the pool wall enough longer to allow several inches of liner material to fold over the top of the pool wall and anchor it in place with the liner locking strips.
