Unless you can find the shift linkage and gear selector collar out of a used Falcon, I would go with a nice floor shifter.

It should be about 2.25 qts...your owners manual will be exact....it depends on if your changing the filter out or not..
Just as the line enters the bellhousing you should see a collar around the line. Push the collar in with what ever means and pull out on the line at the same time. It's like a quick disconnect coupler.
