Low coolant? Radiator probably needs flushing and/or replacing after 40 years. Bad thermostat? System airbound? Water pump not circulating coolant? Hoses collapsing? Bad radiator cap?

That light notifies you that one of the gauges is out of its normal parameter. Check the temp (overheating), the voltage (not charging) and the oil pressure gauge (low or no oil pressure).

psi on a 2000 Chevy truck, place the key in the on position the fuel pressure should be between 50- 60 psi....The General Motors test for this is the pressure should NOT drop more than 6-8 psi during the first 10 secounds, if it does check you fuel lines for leakes at the filter and check the check ball in the fuel system
