Usually idle for Celicas should be 700-800 rpms. The a/c idle adjustment is usually set by most people to idle at 1000 or so to make it cool better at stoplights in the summer. It is located on the firewall, passenger side, most applications. (white nylon adjuster with spring behind it and two vacuume hoses attached). You may find that depending on your engine's compression health, that a slightly higher adjustment will smooth out vibration at idle. Depends on fuel economy vs. comfort/irritability. lol! auntetr
