What should be doing for a hamster not to die during travelling?

For car transportation gather some small cups with tight fitting lids and place each crab in its own cup. The cups should be large enough that the crab can turn around and take a few steps and should have some substrate from the tank. The lids need an X or holes in them so the crab can breathe. Place the cups in a corner of the tank to they do not get jostled to much on the car. When you reach your destination remove the crabs from the cups as soon as possible and place in the tank. ∙ 12y agoHamsters Do Not travel well. If it is a short distance, than go in a car and hold on to them tightly so they dont get stressed out with all the bumping

If you don't mind the possibility of the hamster waking you up by running on its wheel or doing other activities during the night you should be fine. On the other hand if you are a light sleeper and need sleep you might not want to do this. Yes though, it is probably fine to let your hamster sleep in the same room as you.

Dont know the age of the hamster but twice now in the past month she will squeal or whimper kinda like a guinea pig. no one or nothing is around her and its confusing why she is doing it. is she ok?
This might happen if your hamster is either- Sick or is on its way to deth i am not 100% sure with the deth part but my hamster is squealing and this is probaly a reason but he has been sick for the past week or so if this is what your hamster is doing go see a vet ASAP if u wanna be helpful and loving to a hamster.
