Sounds a little TV cliche, but the best advice i can give you on making it easier to talk to this girl, is to be apart of something she is apart. Do this so you can get to know the type of person she is without actually talking to her....who knows you might find out you're not actually interested in her or find a mutual bond that makes it easier and you more confident to speak up.
