1. Make your house hamster proof!
Cover electric cables.
Keep other animals away from where you think the hamster may be.
Remove anything that the hamster may chew on that will make him sick. (soap, make up, chocolate, plastic objects etc)
2. Try and catch it. Get a container (cardboard box etc) and make it so the hamster can get inside but not back out. Have some food and water in the box . Hamsters are attracted to the smell of water.
If a hamster was dropped on 2 foot of grass, the hamster should not suffer from any damage. If the hamster got away then food can be put down and the hamster should come back.
it depends on the type of hamster you get. you should give baby hamsters away when they are two or three weeks depending n your type of hamster if it is a syran hamster you should give the babys away at two weeks other hamsters you can give it another week
do everything that you can the same as their mother would have if she was still there
they would roam until they r comfortable with where they are or when injured or tired and try to adapt

You should never, under any circumstances, remove a baby hamster from the mother.

The small growth on the lower eyelid of your hamster might be a sty. This should go away in a couple of weeks.
