If the tank's large enough, just leave them in there. Red wag swordtails are peaceful community fish. Otherwise, you have four choices: get another aquarium give them to your friends sell them to a pet store do what my buddy who breeds Bettas does with the imperfect ones, and give them to your Oscar. (Oscars are a necessary part of any fine fish breeding program.)
They are called a Red Wagtail Sword.
The Swordtail comes in many different colors. The red tail swordfish is the common name for the red color swordfish. The Swordtail is an very tough fish that can adapt to a large range of water conditions.
If the fish is more red than orange it could be a red wag swordtail or even a platy. well... male- all orange with a line of black on the under side of the tale is a xiphophorus helleri swordtail from the southern mexico, Guatemala
YES...I HAD A PAIR OF REDSWORDTAILS AND A PAIR OF GUPPIES. MY FEMALE SWORDTAIL DIED...THEN MY MALE GUPPY DIED...LEAVING ONLY MY TWO FISH. IT WASN'T LONG UNTIL MY GUPPY HAD BABIES...AND THEY WERE RED, BUT I DIDN'T GET THEM SEPERATED IN TIME...THEY WERE EATEN. I DIDN'T TRY AFTER THAT TO BREED THEM. THEY SOON DIED AND I DIDN'T GET MORE FISH.
No, they don't. In fact, the parents will attack and eat the baby fish if they can.
The Xiphophorus helleri known also as swordtail is one of the impressive fish among the livebearers. Its tail look like a sword, his native color was metal green but today we can see swordtails in many varieties such as green, orange, yellow and the most common is the red swordtail. It requires 10 gallon tank and up, even though they can handle themselves with other fish don't keep them with tropical fish big enough to eat them, weekly water changes are needed, will appreciate plants as a hiding places in their tank.
its fine. it's probably just the color of the food that your feeding it.
when you give a red fish cheese... it has some bad effects. For instance the fish DIES. thats right, cheese kills your red fish! so to answer your question... yes. yes you should give your fish cheese
if there is a black out and you do have a fish tank you should be fine an less you have a chinease fish or any fish that is in the red mark for fish
