Well Although It Doesn't Hurt Very Much It May Bleed Sometimes, Or If It Tugs On Your Shirt It Will Really Hurt (just like earrings do). As For The Age Part That's Up To You And Your Parents. I got mine pierced when i was 12 and it's been fine, as long as you keep it clean and don't change it prematurely it should be fine, here in England you can get it done over the age of 11 but you have to have parental consent under 16. I am a Professional piercer and i think girls who are 13 and younger should not get there navel pierced! But however its up to you. Plus trust me i would love to have your money!!! Don't get me wrong just i want you guys to be safe, I have been in the business for 56 years. Now from ages 14-16 is fine. Just don't forget to clean it out at least once a day! If you don't it will be infected, and can cause you to get really sick. So DO NOT FORGET I REPEAT DO NOT FORGET to clean it at least once a day! Also don't touch it 24/7 right after you get it done because it will take longer and longer for it to heal. The longest would be about 6 months. The shortest if you don't touch it, it would take only 1 1/2 - 2!

not at all. never pierce anything at a mall. you never know if the thing is infected or not. always go to a doctor. and poercing your ears is safer the navel
