Panic.
Seriously though - turn to alternative energy sources. Sun, tidal, bio thermal, wind, nuclear etc. renewable sources hopefully!
By then they would have hopefully solved the problems of fusion reactors - an energy source with limitless potential.
I imagine in the near future the majority of our energy will come from hydrogen facilities. A volatile, efficient energy source. When oil and gas production cease, they will simply move into hydrogen production. And considering it is the most abundant material in the known universe, we are unlikely to run out.
because coal is a non renewable and it is the main culprit of global warming and coal is not infinte we will run out of coal soon
Becuase it is a natural resource and if we run out then we will never have any ever again
Yes, coal is a non-renewable resource.
They run on coal :)
It will run out, but there is still enough supply to last over 100 years I believe which means that it really isn't a problem yet. However, we should already be converting to cleaner methods of power and electricity over coal.
No, coal is not environmentally friendly. Gathering it requires mining with machinery and burning coal produces many pollutants. Eventually, coal will run out. Solar energy is a good alternative since it is free and will not run out.
Yes
The term means a product similar to coal and mined the same way. Some is made by using coking oven from coal. Coal is cheaper and that is why it is used more often. Coke is cleaner and other methods should be looked into before coal and oil run out.
