Pirate Outpost (7 o'clock, lower left) -- buy Spice
Generally, your best profit on grain is at Pirate Outpost, your best profit on spice is at Dragon Cove, your best profit on medicine is at Parrot Port, and your best profit on silk is at Bouffant Bay. When you have a lot of cash, you can borrow more at the bank in Golden Harbor.
Sail the circular clockwise route, allowing you to double the value of your cargoes :
- Silk (buy at Dragon Cove, sail across right to Bouffant)
- Medicine (buy at Bouffant Bay, sail down to Parrot)
- *Sell Medicine at Parrot Port, sail to Golden Harbor
- Grain (buy at Golden Harbor, sail across left to Pirate Outpost)
- Spice (buy at Pirate Outpost, sail up to sell at Drogon Cove

The island for Main Street is Fort Ridley, a settlement that has been shot up repeatedly by Captain Crawfish and his piracy. The five trading islands are Dragon Cove (oriental), Bouffant Bay (English mainly), Parrot Port (a shore leave island), Golden Harbor (Arabian motif), and the Pirate Outpost where the riff raff of Captain Crawfish's crew hang out. The 7th island, the aptly-named Skullduggery, only appears when the Treasure Map is complete. There are rumors of Buried Treasure there.

∙ 10y agoSell salvage and buy cargo at the Trading Post on each of the 5 islands. The best course of trading is clockwise among the islands, although it is possible to skip Parrot Port because nothing there is cheap to buy.
The price of the commodities suggests the most profitable selling and buying:
