What is wrong with being a straight A student and a good athlete!? Be proud of your abilities and your achievements. You will have a world of opportunities available to you and will be in a much better position to take advantage of those opportunities than those who achieve nothing. Just because you are talented, hard-working, and accomplished doesn't mean you have to be rude or mean to people. You can be nice to everyone but ignore those who try to build themselves up by tearing you down. And don't slack off out of some misplaced desire to "fit in". I guarantee you, deep inside most of the other girls wish they were like you but they probably won't admit it.
