Try this exercise:
- Write down things you don't like about your teacher
- Write down things you want to respect about your teacher
Look carefully at what you don't like, and figure out how to simply accept these things. (It's probably superficial, such as, the way the teacher dresses, walks, smells, combs his or her hair, or something else as silly.)
Then look carefully at what you want to respect about your teacher, and focus on that. (The teacher certainly knows more than you do about a subject or two, and you can learn from this person. What you can teach yourself thanks to whomever the teacher may be, makes you a better, more able human.)
When you think about the price of learning -- accepting what you don't like about the teacher, in exchange for everything you can learn from this teacher, it will become easier every day for you to respect this teacher.
