What do you do when you find out that your boyfriend is gay?

Accept them, tell them you don't care and treat them like you always have. If you are truly friends, their sexuality should not affect it. Them being gay requires you to do nothing. Friendship isn't about sexuality. Did your friend suddenly grow a horn out of their forehead and their eyes bulged out? You do nothing because nothing has changed with the exception you know they are gay. I have many gay friends and they aren't any different than my straight friends. Learn to be different and accept good people for who they are, not what they are.

A crazily situational question with no real answer... besides just saying,"I'm gay". It really depends on what kind of person your best friend is and how well they are gonna take that to begin with and the reason why you are telling your best friend you're gay.

If it's your best friend, why does it matter? You should treat them as you always have. ---- If he or she's your best friend, then it shouldn't make any difference. If they were your best friend before, that shouldn't change. If they have just recognised lately that they are gay, then they may need a good friend to support them. You can be that person. A lot of young gay people have nobody at all that they can talk to about being gay, as there are usually no family role models for them. Don't be scared that they want to have sex with you. They might be interested in you in a sexual way, or they might not. Don't presume they do. If they come on to you, talk to them about it and decide what you both want to do. Maybe nothing. If you are gay then that will be a help to both of you, but if you are not you can still be a supportive friend.

Nothing except talk to him. You can't just tell him to go away or even think that he lied to you. Us human can not be the judge why some people has different personality. You need to be in his shoes to really understand why it was hard for him to let go. This is the time that he really need you and that is you need to be understanding..

First thing you do is ask him if he has been having safe sex, and if he and his partner have been tested for HIV. Then you get tested yourself. If, God Forbid , you have been infected , report him to your local Health Dept. Depending on your State law, you may be able to sue him civilly and /or charge him criminally. Being healthy and having peace of mind should be your primary concern. Feelings can wait , your health cannot.
