What should you do if you haven't had your period for more than a month?

I would call my doctor. I had a miscarriage at about that point in my pregnancy and they ended up doing a D&C to make sure everything got cleaned out. Not that a D&C is something you want to ruch into as it can leave scaring, but it might be good to have a doctor allerted because if you get a fever or excess pain or I don't know what else, they might want/need to do one. You wouldn't want to get infected.

∙ 15y agoFirst off, don't panic. Figure out who the father is and when/if you know which guy it is AND you can find him, you should head to the nearest Babies R' Us and drop a few grand on all the stuff you are going to need to outfit a nursery and just the first month of diapers.

∙ 6y agoYou should wait for a while since these do not have an absolute schedule. If time goes by and you are being to worry, talk to your mom or other older woman or your doctor. It can be a sign of a number of things.

Sometimes a woman's period is irregular. They could have their period one month, skip the next, then get it again. This happens more when women are just getting their period (more in teenage years)

You can't prevent it, its a natural part of growing into a woman. Your body gets rid of the eggs in your womb cause you havent got pregnant yet, that's why you have periods, i think in the process it makes new ones and after a month or so you'll have another period to rid the old eggs and make more ready for when you do eventually have sex to get pregnant.

It means that you body is eliminating the additional blood that we as women need because we reproduce once a month during what is call a menstrual cycle.
