Well everything happens for a reason so I would go with the other guy for now, if you and your boyfriend split up then you two split up for a reason. . .

You and your boyfriend are showing great immaturity by not having the bond of trust in your relationship and since he has mentioned an open relationship this means neither of you are ready to commit to each other and should split up. To cheat is not the right thing to do and since you have already slept with someone this only means the relationship between you and your boyfriend is a weak relationship. The two of you should go your separate ways and date who you wish too and perhaps you may find out at a later date you truly love each other. If you don't split up then someone is going to get hurt.
