Find the person who added the password, there is no way of accessing the system if they put a BIOS password on the system.

To reset the password on Mac OS X you need to start up the computer from the original system install disc that came with the iMac. Insert the disc in the disc drive. Restart the computer and hold down the C key until the computer has recognised the disc and has started loading it. Once the desktop has loaded select Reset Password from the Installer (in earlier versions this may be called Utilities) menu at the top of the screen. Select the computers hard disc and then the account that has had the password added to it. Enter a new password. Enter a hint to remind you if you ever forget it again. Restart the computer.

Hopefully you can see how I am not sure exactly what your trying to ask specifically, because typically you would know your Windows XP password to log onto the computer because you should be the person that chose it upon first setting the system up in general. If your trying to figure out how to recover a lost or forgotten password then that is an entirely different issue.
