First Make sure you closed minecraft COMPLETELY then install the skin (re install) It should work correctly if not you don't have a premium account
If you downloaded the skin's .png you can. Go to the Minecraft home page, log in, and go to your profile. Upload the .png and confirm the skin. Restart your minecraft and it should be working.
I think you mean how to make skins in minecraft. To make a skin, you can go to a skin making website like skindex, minecraft skins,or planet minecraft. There you can download a skin, or make you own using their tools. To upload your skin onto minecraft, just go to minecraft.net, log in, press profile, and upload your skin. Then, just log into minecraft online, and you should have your skin!
A minecraft skin is the look of your Minecraft character. To see your skin, press f5 or e.
Yes you can download a minecraft account. You will need to have bought your minecraft account. If you didn't It won't work. First download a skin from a website and upload it to minecraft.net profile page of yours.
Go to minecraftskins.com and choose a skin. Once you have found it click it. After you clicked it you should see the skin with a minecrafty backround. If you are sure you want the skin click upload to minecraft. It will then take you to minecraft.net. Once you are there you log in. Then you have to go back to your skin. You have to click upload to minecraft again then it will take you back to minecraft. Then it will say your skin has been changed. Enjoy your new skin!! (P.S. it looks hard but it is really easy.)

They're actually called skins, but let's move onto the question. If you go to your profile on Minecraft's website, minecraft.net, you should see a skin selection with a folder browse bar. A quick search on Yahoo or Google for "minecraft skins" should easily find you a Minecraft skins site. Some sites like Planet Minecraft also have skin sections, and the Minecraft Forums has a skin forum section. When you find the sin that suits your needs, download it, and it should appear in your "Downloads" folder. Go back to the skin section in your profile, browse your computer for the skin, and navigate to the Downloads folder. When you find the downloaded skin, double-click it, and click the button that changes your skin. If it works, a message like "Skin added successfully" or something like that will appear in green, and you've changed your character's skin!
Easy. Go download a skin. now go to your .minecraft, bin, minecraft jar file, (you will need winrar or 7-zip) go to mobs and delete the char.png. now replace it with the downloaded skin and rename it char.png. now play the game and it should have worked=D
I have provided a direct link in the related links to the official Minecraft reference skin. However, to get to it yourself, you click on 'Profile' and in blue text below 'Change how you look in Minecraft' you should see download reference skin. Click it and you'll be directed to the picture.
You can. Just get it from the Minecraft Forum. Run it, then you can make and edit skin files for Minecraft.
You restart your minecraft. It works for me.
If you mean skin like what your character looks like, go to a site like planetminecraft or the skindex and choose a skin. Right click the image and choose "save image as..." and save it to wherever you want. Then, go to minecraft.net, sign in and go to profile, scroll down until you see choose skin. Click choose image (or whatever it says) and navigate to where you saved the image and choose it. Then click upload and you should be done. Go into minecraft and press F5 twice and you should see your new skin. But if you do not have a pRemium account this will not work.
