The bottom line is that you find that your needs are not being met by someone who is absent from your life. That is entirely reasonable and you should not disregard your feelings. Unfortunately, you need to require that he make changes to his lifestyle in order to have you in his life. It is hard now, but ever so much harder when you find that it doesn't work when you have a house and two kids.
