Well this can depend on what you're falling behind in and why you started falling behind in the first place. The best things you can do are to concentrate better while in class, listening to what the teacher is saying and taking notes. Once home eliminate all distractions while doing homework, your phone, computer, video games etc are nowhere near as important as your education. If after a week or so of this you are not seeing improvements then you need to talk with your teacher and tell them whats going on. You may need a tutor or a better explanation of things.

It can also be disrespectful to the teacher who is trying to teach the lesson. Speaking out of turn can prevent other students from hearing important information or asking questions. Constant talking in class can also lead to missing out on valuable information or falling behind in assignments.
