It's time to face reality and realize that a narcissist won't be any better at being a friend as they were your lover. He has total control over you!!! Have the courage (seek counseling to deal with all of this) and realize narcissist's are also abusive (probably more verbally abusive than physical) and will drive you straight to the funny farm. It's time you got that counseling, got on your own two feet, made new friends and started to have some fun and loosen yourself up so you can meet and hopefully date other nice men (there are lots out there) but take it slow and easy at first. If you tie yourself up in a knot over your narcissistic ex he is controlling; will have it all his own way and you will end up only being sad, lonely and your self respect and self confidence taken away. Please wake up!
