you should just let it heal on its own. it will heal quickly
Ask a vet what to do.
Fleas! Or an ear infection, if it's in the inner ear.
Hamsters can get ear infections. It may come from cleaning its ears to much or you rough housing it. Hamsters ears are very fragile. Some remedies you can try though if ear infection dose occur is dab a little bit of worm water on a soft cloth and gently rub it on your hamsters ear or get medication from a vet. but whatever you do don't get rid of it or drown it in water. Animals should NOT experience that kind of abuse. If you think your hamster has ear infections it may have puss coming out and may have a cyst and a cut but still please don't get rid of it please Chow Belly button2010
No he did not. He only cut of the lobe of his ear.
HIMSELF! He cut off his own ear! Gosh!
If your hamster's ear is swollen like a blister you should take it to the vet. It likely has an infection that if left untreated will kill it.
It sounds like your hamster has mange. Get him to a vet ASAP
Vincent Van Gogh cut off his ear.
I wouldn't suggest it. Normally hamsters fight if they are in the same cage as another hamster. You should put them in separate cages unless you want them to fight a lot. Hope this helps.Second Answer well you can but watch them very closely and if they start to fight take little one out!No I don't think so. My sister's hamster, when he was a baby he was in a cage with another hamster and the other hamster bit his ear and there is a little triangle where the bit of his ear used to be! Keep them in separate cages I should suggest. xxxThird AnswerIf your long haired one is a Syrian, NO!!! Syrians are solitary hamsters. they will fight to the death if the baby hamster is the weakest.
the right ear
Take it to the vet. It could have a tumour.
Hold the horse's ear so it is closed. Then run your electric clippers along their ear to trim. I've used and seen this method is used to make their ears look nice and trim, the cut hair generally will not fall into their ear, it deafens the sound of the clippers (which should be small hand-held) and you leave the small hairs inside the ear alone.
