If it were me, I'd ask my best friend what he thinks of all of her affections and tell him that you really liked her before any of this happened. See what he says, but if you and him are really best buddies, better the two of you drop her and move on in life. She seems to be some kind of leech, the kind of woman that neither of you need, because you never know who she's going to love next.
