Introduce yourself to them, and ASK for permission to hunt on their land. It is illegal to go on someone else's land without their permission. It is also very poor manners.

By passing a hunter's safety course which requires a test at the end of the class. afterward you will have to get a license in your state of residency. if you choose to hunt in another state you will have to get a license there also but usually you will only get a temporary one unless you hunt there regularly. then if you choose to hunt on someone else's land you will need written permission from the land owner.

Why would the government essentially allow a thief to acquire the title to someone elses property?

The government would not allow a thief to acquire title to someone else's property. There are laws that allow land that has been idle and unmaintained for a number of years to be acquired by adverse possession. Also, in a land dispute the court will rule in favor of the litigant with the best evidence of ownership.

If you have permission to hunt can you use a perpetual easement to get to property?

First, a landowner's verbal permission to hunt their property can be withdrawn at any time, for any reason. You should get it in writing. Also, you should inquire about legal access to the property when you discuss permission with the landowner. If the owner has legal access via an easement and permits you to use their land then you can also use their easement for access. If the easement you refer to is owned by someone else then you need their permission to use it.

Why has polo as a sport declined?

It has been my experience that the available land on which hunters can hunt is shrinking fast. Many people I know personally have given up hunting because they simply can not find a place to hunt. Land owners are cautious about allowing people to hunt on their land because of the liability. It is a simple equation- less land to hunt=fewer hunters..
