If he says bad things about you, talk to him and ask him to stop,
If he physically abuses you, e.g. forces you into sex or hits you, tell some one xx

∙ 12y agoIf you have hurt his feelings, the only way to fix it and the only way for it to stop haunting you is to apologize to him, sincerely and from your heart.
That's the only way, and only time will tell what's gonna happen between you two.

Or you could just try being nice to him for a little while not saying u have to date him again if u broke up but guys like it when ur nice to them for a little while after u break up with him or disapoint them. try to get thigns were they were in the beginning and u could still be freinds but that's your/his choice
